Welcome to the Creemore Area Residents' Association (CARA) website. For more than 30 years, CARA has been acting on local issues in an effort to preserve the unique and wonderful character of the Creemore area.

June 10, 2018: CARA held its AGM with Wendy Schellenberg discussing seniors housing.
April 23, 2018: Council has approved an extension of the Alliance Draft Plan of Subdivision until April 9, 2021.
March, 2018: Both items below have been approved.
February 7, 2018: Alliance is seeking a minor variance from the Committee of Adjustment to permit a usable loft area option for purchasers above the detached garages of the single homes to be built along Mary Street. See the Land Use Planning Letter by Alliance's planner provided to the Township in support of the Minor Variance Application.
February 12, 2018: Feb 12, 2018: Alliance is seeking approval from Council for an amended phasing plan and related subdivision agreement amendment. See the Memorandum of Understanding and draft Plan here.
January 17, 2018: The Ontario Municipal Board (OMB) allowed Doug MacIntosh's settlement appeal regarding the Meadows development that dealt with issues such as zoning for storm water management, visitor parking ratios and the definition of height and which was agreed to by the Township.
